On user requirement for observational service in rainy season, the DB readout service of Fengyun geostationary satellite is intensified and the change involves the FY-2 satellites at 105E(FY-2G) and 86.5E(FY-2E) – each satellite to increase transmission for extra 20 images of the northern hemisphere on the basic 28 full-discs of the earth everyday. From 00:00(UTC) June 1st, 2017, the FY-2 satetllite at 105E performs full-disc observation at each hour time, and the north half-disc observation at each half-hour time (except the observations for wind derivation at 5:30, 11:30, 17:30 and 23:30); the FY-2 satellite at 86.5E takes the full-disc image at each 15-minute past the hour, and takes the northern half-disc image at each 15-minute to the hour (except the observations for wind derivation at 2:45, 8:45, 14:45 and 20:45).
